On January 17, 2004, Detective Dodge received the Community Service Award from the Maine Association of Police. Detective Dodges peers at the York Police Department nominated her for the award, which was presented at the annual MAP dinner. Some 400 police and state dignitaries at the Italian Heritage Club in Portland attended the event. The award was presented for Detective Dodges never ending commitment and involvement with the community. Detective Dodge is actively involved in the Jump Start Program, the Youth Mentoring Program, the Sticker Shock Program, Educational Programs as well as various Christmas Programs with in the Town of York.
