Permit Information Obtaining a Permit: Any person who owns property or has a motor vehicle registered in the Town of York can obtain a permit. Permits can be obtained in the Town Clerk's office at York Town Hall, 186 York Street, York, Maine. The clerk's office is open Monday, Thursday & Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM and Tuesday 8 AM - 6:30 PM. They are closed Wednesdays and weekends. *Note: The Town Clerk's office will be open on Wednesdays from 8 AM - 4:30 PM beginning Wednesday, July 11th, 2007.
